Tis the season to give back more than ever during this particular holiday season. Our team at GIA decided to do a few things to give back to our community this year. Our associates worked together in the Adopt A Senior initiative with the Galveston County Food Bank. In all, our agency adopted 32 seniors! By doing this, it provided the items needed to make a Christmas dinner per individual. We specifically enjoyed getting to write each senior a Christmas card. It was heartwarming to say the least!
Our team decided to continue our yearly tradition of buying and wrapping presents for kids and families in need. We were so grateful to be given two Kelly’s Angels kids through GISD. We were also able to gift presents to a deserving family of four.
We are so grateful to be able to give back to our community where we can. This has been a year of ups and downs and many challenges for all. As we approach this holiday season, we are counting our blessings and are extra thankful for the little things in life. We wish you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
